
Our research consortium—including the University of New Mexico (UNM), New Mexico State University (NMSU), Santa Fe Community College (SFCC), University of South Dakota (USD), and University of Wyoming (UW)—works in partnership with rural communities across the United States. Our team takes a convergence science approach to addressing food security challenges, bringing together diverse expertise in areas such as plant physiology, plant-microbe interactions, CEA and horticulture, environmental and natural resource economics, engineering, sustainability science, and the applied knowledge of rural community members and industry partners.
Our Board brings together visionary leaders from academia and industry, including university directors, Ph.D. scholars, and CEOs: Nate Downey, Bryn Fragua, Jason Jurey, Murat Kacira, Kara McCormick, and Melanie Yelton.
